The Cat Tail Inn is a premier luxury feline boarding facility designed to be a comfortable and relaxing "home away from home" for your special feline friends.

Accommodations:

Every cat is housed individually (cats from the same household may share accommodations at a discounted rate) in comfortable and spacious condos equipped with soft fleece bedding, private litterboxes and ceramic food and water dishes.   Our staff pays special attention to the cleanliness of each condo, litterboxes are monitored and changed twice daily, and fresh clean water is always available. 

All cats are boarded in our special feline room, which is separate from the canine boarding areas.  Our cat room is designed to be a kitty paradise, with perches, cat furniture, plenty of toys and lots of soft places to snuggle.  To encourage a low-stress environment, our cat room is equipped with a Feliway diffuser which releases relaxing feline pheromones.  Throughout the day, each cat is allowed time out of their condo individually, to explore the cat ward and get special attention from our staff.

We welcome feline guests with special medical needs.  Our staff is trained to administer all common medications, including subcutaneous fluids and insulin injections.  Our veterinarians are always on call to deal with any medical needs that may arise.  Diabetic felines are welcome at the Cat Tail Inn.  For our diabetic guests, we require that owners fill out an extra form at check-in so we can ensure they are getting the highest quality care during their stay.

Complete veterinary care and grooming services are available during your cat's stay with us.  Simply let us know when you make a boarding reservation.

What to Bring: 

For each cat, we provide bedding, toys, litter and a litterbox, and food and water dishes.  We do require that you bring your cat's food from home, as sudden diet changes can be detrimental for felines.  In addition to food, you are welcome to bring any special bedding or toys that will make your cat feel more at home.  Please make sure to mark any belongings with a permanent marker so that they are returned to you.

We require feline guests be up to date on their rabies and distemper vaccinations, and on a current flea preventative.  You will be required to provide veterinary records indicating current vaccine status before your cat checks in.

 Rates and Policies:

Our boarding rates for cats are $14 per cat per day.  A discounted rate of $11 per cat is applied for cats from the same family who share accommodations.  You will be charged for the day of drop-off.  Check-out is 11:00 a.m.   A credit card number is required to make a reservation for boarding.  Cats who board with us long-term (more than two weeks) are required to visit with one of our veterinarians before checking in for a physical exam, to ensure their health during their stay.  In addition, a 50% deposit and the price of the exam will need to be paid at check-in.
