Boarding Requirements

Canine Health Requirements:
  • Current rabies, distemper and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccines.
  • A negative fecal exam within the last three months.
  • Current flea & tick preventative.

Feline Health Requirements:
  • Current rabies and distemper vaccines.
  • Current fle preventative.


These services can also be provided by East Towne Pet Clinic at the time of boarding.  Simply let us know what medical services your pet needs when you make a reservation.

We require exotic pets and birds to bring their own familiar cage, food, treats and toys

For pets who are not regular patients at East Towne Pet Clinic, we will need to have documentation of your pet's flea control medications and vaccine status at least in advance of checking in. You may bring the required records with you, or have your veterinarian fax this information to us at fax # 244-2629.


Food and water:
  • Ceramic food and water dishes are supplied. 
  • Please bring your pet's own food with you.
  • You are welcome to bring special treats or food supplements for your pet.


Medications: We welcome pets who have special medical needs. Please only bring medications with you that are still in the original bottle or container.

Beds, Toys, Blankets, Crates, Etc.: You are welcome to bring special toys, bedding, a crate or anything that will make your pet feel more comfortable during their stay. Keep in mind we may need to be able to mark belongings with a permanent marker.
